As your Career Coach my aim is to help you achieve your purpose through identifying the best next steps in your career. We will work together to set and meet professional goals that progress you on your journey forward.
I have worked in a variety of sectors internationally across Hospitality Management, Sales and Marketing, Relocation Consultancy, Education and Career Development. This has earned me especially in-depth knowledge into the many different industries and professions, as well as key insights into employer expectations.
I have learnt that changing careers, learning new skills and embracing different industries takes not only courage, but a willingness to step out of your comfort zone. Working in England, Singapore and Australia, I have encountered many changes in my career, presenting me with fresh challenges and opportunities each time.
When I moved to Australia in 2001, it was one of the most challenging times of my life. I had to start afresh in a new country, with a young family to raise without a support network of friends or relatives. I had no connections or contacts in Australia, and I hit a roadblock. I didn’t know where to start or what I wanted to do.
But I listened to my inner voice and realised that I wanted to help others – I wanted to use my own lived experiences of change to support others with their career decisions and direction.
That was when I decided to study Career Counselling. It took commitment, perseverance and pushing through fear, but the rewards were there. Not only did I find my purpose and passion, but it gave me the understanding and empathy to help others. I love that I now can help people find their career paths and successfully transition to a better workplace and lifestyle.
